BAROLO
MASSARA DOCG
The Massara vineyard was purchased from the House of Savoy in 1910 by G. B. Burlotto.Lying at an altitude of 265 metres a.s.l., in one of the very best wine-growing sites in Verduno, the vineyard’s 1.22 hectares (3 acres) are entirely planted with Nebbiolo. With its white, mainly clayey-calcareous soil and prized position facing east-south-east, a strict selection of the best grapes during picking produces a wine capable of amazing power and longevity.
